Sienna

My adorable niece Sienna turns eight next month!  She has made the decision to get baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  We are so happy and proud of her.  I loved being able to take photos of her all dressed up in her lovely new baptism dress!  She is the definition of beautiful, inside and out!

Ryan Rockwell : Fresh 48 and Newborn Session

There is nothing better than a precious little new baby.  They are perfect and cuddly and sweet.  I was honored to be able to meet little Rocky  when he was only a day old and to photograph him and his wonderful parents at the hospital.  It never ceases to amaze me how immediate the bond is between parent and baby.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to capture that love in these photos.

When Rocky was one week old I was able to photograph him again, along with his precious family, in their home.  He is a lucky boy and is loved by each of them.  It is not too often a newborn sleeps through the entire session, but this little guy was a champ and slept the entire time.  He is just perfect in every way.  Congratulations to his wonderful family!

JoJo + Brandon

We had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Ryan's brother Brandon and his cute wife Jojo.  They are two of our favorite people to spend time with!  These two were married last summer in a beautiful ceremony in Colorado.  This year they decided to go through the LDS temple together and be sealed as husband and wife for eternity.  We are so happy for them and loved spending time with lots of family celebrating these two!  Congratulations Jojo and Brandon, you guys are the best of the best!

Throughout  their relationship, Jojo has written many letters to Brandon.  Letters to celebrate special moments, letters to express her feelings and letters to show Brandon how much she cares and loves him.  She had told us previously that she wanted to surprise him with a letter and have us take pictures as she read it to him.  So as we were finishing up with the final photos we slipped her the letter.  As she read it to Brandon we quietly fadded into the background to let them have their special moment while we documented it from afar.  As much fun as we had earlier laughing and joking, this was my favorite part.  When it was just the two of them together, unposed and candid.
