First Look Bridals: Amber + Cody

There are many parts of a wedding that are my favorite, but I think my absolute favorite is the moment the groom sees his bride for the first time.  It is such a sweet tender moment.   It was no different at this pre wedding first look.  As Cody slowly turned around  and saw Amber, his beautiful bride to be, time seemed to slow down for them.  Suddenly those around faded away and it was as if it were just the two of them alone.  Ryan and I were honored to be able to capture that moment and to witness their love shining so brightly for each other.  

As Ryan and I walked around before the shoot we knew we had to use this little bridge.  The lighting was perfect, the stream flowed peacefully and that big beautiful tree added the perfect touch.  Bring in a couple in love and all of a sudden it turns into a picture where dreams are made.

Amber was stunning.  I would seriously photograph her everyday if I could!

You would never believe it looking at these but Cody had his appendix taken out three days early.  You guys. Three. Days.... I don't know how he did it, but Cody managed to look pain free throughout the shoot.  Oh wait, how could he not be happy with his beautiful bride in his arms?

I loved everything about this shoot.  From start to finish we had fun and had so many great pictures that I had a hard time not posting a hundred.  I will end with these.  As we finished up the sun was setting sending a beautiful golden glow all around.  

I didn't think that I could be any more excited for their wedding this summer but after spending the evening with Cody and Amber I can tell you that I am!  

Easter Spring Time - The Raneys

I wish everyday could be spring.  The sun shining on freshly grown trees just starting to pop with the golden colors of the morning, makes for the most perfect joyful photos.  The happy smiles of the Raney family makes it even more joyous!

Reagan's 6 Months

It's hard to pass up the opportunity to photograph this little cutie.  I mean she is my most willing model I have around.  Much to this mama's regret, her older brother and sister are getting to an age where they can be less cooperative when the camera comes out.

Last month Reagan Beth turned 6 months old.  As cliche as it is to say, time really has just flown by.  At times I wonder how she is already this old while other times it seems like she has been apart of our family forever.  We are so grateful to have this little smiley baby.  Thank you Reagan for being ours!

The Lionhearted Society

Three months ago, these two amazing ladies launched The Lionhearted Society.  It is a nonprofit organization with an incredible mission.  Their goal is to provide a way for those suffering with anxiety to find a positive community, support group, coping mechanisms and to help them find hope and peace.  I had the incredible opportunity to take some pictures for JoJo and Layne awhile back for their site.  Go check it out HERE and read their many inspirational posts.
