Baby Lydia

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet sweet baby Lydia at the hospital, the day that she entered this world.  She was born in the early hours of a day that turned out to be bright and beautiful.  I was honored when her parents asked if I could come photograph her in some of her earliest moments of life, and to be able to capture their new family of four.

When I entered their room I found Lydia's sweet Mama holding her close.  It was easy to tell that this baby came to a family that already cherishes and adores her.

While I was there they had their other daughter come into the room so we could take photos of the whole family together.  It was so wonderful to see those two sisters start to bond.

A week later I took Lydia's newborn photos.  She was an absolute angel and slept the entire time.  Her perfect little features are to die for!

She is perfectly chunky, with just the right amount of rolls that make you want to cuddle her all day!  Thank you Carissa and Ryan for allowing me to document these precious moments of your darling little girl.

Baby Gender Reveal Party!

I was honored to be apart of such a fun and intimate party.  Andrea and Casey are expecting a baby in January.  Instead of finding out the gender at their ultrasound appointment, they decided to keep it a secret a little longer and find out with their loved ones at their gender reveal party.  There were fun games planned all centered around baby themes and Andrea's pregnancy.

Everyone had their guesses

After the games came the big moment, the gender reveal.  Andrea and Casey stood beneath a large box that had been hung up in a tree labeled 'Boy or Girl'.  Attached was a string for them to pull to reveal either blue or pink balloons.  This was such a tender moment to witness the love that they have for each other and the excitement of a new baby coming.

And now for the big moment…..

There were laughs, there were screams of joy, and there were tears of happiness.  Such a special moment for this wonderful couple and their families.  Thank you Andrea and Casey for allowing me to document this joyful occasion!  I'm so excited for you and for your new baby girl coming soon!

The Ashtons

What a fantastic evening to be up Hobble Creek canyon.  It was absolutely perfect!  What made it even better was being with this wonderful family.  They were visiting all the way from Kentucky and I was lucky enough to be able to spend time with them while photographing their sweet family in the process.  It is crazy how quickly everyone grows up.  You can see their family a couple of years ago HERE.  Thank you Ashtons for allowing me to document your beautiful family!
