Why I do what I do…

Nine years ago Ryan and I walked along sandy shores in the dimming evening light on the the coast of California.  We strolled hand in hand enjoying the light warm breeze on our faces, the soft sand under our feet and the gentle crashing of the waves  next to us. As Ryan slowly brought us to a stop he pulled me close and turned so we could gaze across the ocean.  With my hand on his chest I could feel his heart beating a million beats a minute.  He turned towards me, knelt on one knee, and asked me to marry him, to be his bride for the rest of our lives.  It was the most magical evening I could have wished for. 

After that the fun of planning a wedding began.  I loved it all.  Wedding dress shopping, choosing our colors, flowers, food to be served.  All of it.  The one detail I cared the most about was choosing the photographer.  I found several amazing ones with beautiful images, images that made my heart swoon.  I thought it would be difficult.  How do you pick just one jewel from a treasure-chest full?  Then I came across a certain photographer,  and I just knew.  Her images were beautiful, yes,  but what stood out to me was her as a person.  I felt a connection and I knew at that point I was looking for more than just beautiful images, many photographers could give me that.  What I was looking for was an experience, someone I would feel comfortable with and who would ultimately make my special day unforgettable. 

I knew then that I wanted to be a wedding photographer, the kind who can embrace the excitement of the day and capture the perfection of the moment.

Yes I want you to love your images.  But I want more than that for you.  I want you to love the entire process, the experience.  I want you to look at your photos and remember not only the events of the day, but the little details that made it so special.  The feelings you had while in that moment.  The way your heart sped up when you saw your groom for the first time.  The feeling of safety you had when your father gave you that final hug before giving you away.  The way your eyes teared up as you stared into his eyes and said I do.

My goal is to give you images that will not only bring you back to the joy of your wedding day every time you see them, but also images you will want to share with your kids, grandkids, and generations to come.

That is what i want for you.  That is why I do what I do.

$200 an hour for wedding day coverage. (Minimum of 2 hours required)

All Wedding packages include 6 month access to an online gallery of all your edited images.  The gallery is easy to navigate, easy to share and easy to download images to any device.  All packages also include a second shooter on the day of the wedding, meaning we will be able to capture even more of your special day.  You can typically expect about 60 to 75 edited images per hour.

Portrait Sessions

Bridals - $150

Up to an Hour to an Hour and a Half Session

This Session can be with just the Bride or the Bride and Groom

Engagements - $150

Up to an Hour to an Hour and a Half Session

Senior Portraits - $150

An Hour to Two Hour Session

You are more than welcome to bring any props that reflect your interested and personality!

Family Portraits - $150

Up to an Hour Session

Up to Eight people ($15 per each additional person)

Each session includes 3 month access to an online gallery of all your edited images.  The gallery is easy to navigate, easy to share and easy to download images to any device.  You can expect at least 50 photos from your session.


*There is a travel fee for any session outside of Utah County.  Contact me for rates.
