They went to the same school all through junior high and high school yet never really connected. Their fates finally collided during senior year. They first started to notice each other while they were part of the same choir and Jace quickly fell for Megan's beautiful smile. Megan describes their senior year as a Fairytale. After spending time with the two of them for their engagements, bridals and now wedding day, I believe that is completely true. These two were meant for each other. Their genuine love shines bright and clear.
Megan is beyond talented. She made both her bouquet and wedding cake! when I asked if she had made wedding cakes before she smiled sweetly and said that she had not. I was floored! It was gorgeous!
As the reception went on, dark, stormy clouds loomed overhead like party crashers. While I can't blame them for wanting to join in, they had us all worried! Although there was a bit of rain on and off, the setting sun on the stormy clouds made a dramatic backdrop, just in time for Megan and Jace's first dance.
Megan and her father Tim started their father daughter dance. After only a few moments there were many tears of happiness, joy and tender emotions. The sky too seemed to shed its tears as the rain started to fall. It was one of the sweetest moments watching Tim quietly lead his daughter off the dance floor only to return moments later with an umbrella to finish their dance.
The DJ kept the music thumping all through the night, and let me just say, I have never wanted to put my camera down and join in as much as I did at that party. I could not stop smiling, and looking around I could see that I was not the only one!
Megan and Jace, your first day as husband and wife was a beautiful one. Thank you for letting Ryan and me to be apart of it. We hope as you look back on these photos you will always be able to remember the joy, happiness and love felt on your wonderful day!
